Manual of SDSS Log Viewer (online version)

Start the tool from Web-Start

Please first try the web start button below to start the tool. If this way wouldn't work for you, you can download the jar files.

The below image shows what will happen after click the launch button. In Chrome and FireFox, the launch.jnlp file will be downloaded. Click or Open the file to start the tool. When operation system asks for verification, please click "Run" button to allow the tool to run. A video demo of this process can be found at Demo page

Note: It may take a relatively long time (a few seconds) for the initial GUI to show up.

Start the tool from jar files

In case the web start wouldn't work, you can download the jar files from Download page, and start the tool by following the below image. Here uses version A.0.1 as an example. The process can be applied to other versions.

Note: Make sure a Java JRE version 1.6.0, or latest versions, is installed in your computer before starting this tool.
